Connie!
Don't go!! How about reading a couple and still dropping into the group occasionally? You may find some ideas for next year?

The challenge was good for me too, because it got me back into reading. I've tried new things, that I wouldn't have bothered with before, and quite liked them.
I may even try to find a local non-virtual reading group to get involved with next year. It's different discussing books face to face I think, more passionate perhaps?
Two month ago I had a phase I wasn't that sure if I could fill in all of the categories: my former plans weren't fitting my reading desire in the present and the books I liked to read weren't fitting the categories. I told myself, that it was a success nevertheless because I read so many books and started reducing the time looking on my smartphone and zapping through tv series I'm not interested in. Plus I started to change books around the categories to make them fit and got over it. And finishing the (terrible) book I didn't complete at school probably helped, too.
Now with having read 46 books and only 6 tickmarks left I feel: Wow! That was only nine month and most of it was fun!
