Looks like I'm headed over to Listopia! :-)
Oh pooh! I haven't been doing well with these lately. However this week I'm on vacation so I know I will bomb this week.

Thanks Sylvia. It's been really relaxing. Waking up when I want and not being on a schedule is fantastic.

This book by Holly Madison is my book of the week number 26. I wrote a quick review/what I thought about the book. Overall I did enjoy this book. It was quite entertaining.
I cannot lie I was very curious as to what she would write about her time as Hefner's girlfriend and her time in the mansion.
I'm glad that it was not just a trashy expose story.
There was a lot of good gossip and smack talking, but towards the end of the story her words began to take on a different tone.
She started showing some emotional maturity and insight.
By the end of the book I was rooting for her. I wanted her to be a success and for all of her dreams to come true. She certainly paid her dues in her younger years. I know that she has received a lot of flak for what she has written in this book. She has been called in out right liar by some.
I suppose it's up to the reader to decide if it's all a lie, or exaggerated, or if it's the truth seen through her eyes and felt by her. The latter is what I believe.
Quite honestly I enjoyed this book because it was composed of so many interesting layers. From the beginning until the end she spoke with an incredibly smart and engaging voice.
