thanks for the link… I never saw it on Amazon before, but I was able to pick up the Audible recordings for several books I have, at good prices too.



Audible's website specifically says I can get the Whispersync if I BUY the kindle version.

Wow! How do you do that? I use Overdrive for my library books but can't seem to find anything related to Whispersync. How does Amazon know you have the book if you didn't get it from them? This is marvellous, I need to discover how to do it


I'm in Australia, maybe you library has a deal going with Amazon, just guessing here. I guess I could just email my library!

No Overdrive in Au doesn't have the same options as the USA overdrive. Here in Australia we can only get epub or overdrive versions, in the USA there is an option for the Kindle version as well, and you need to Kindle version to access the whispersync deals.

I've just had a look at the UK Overdrive help pages and it says that the Kindle Book format is available to U.S. libraries only.
