Just finally finished chapter 1 and I already love it! I love the way Shusterman writes.

I really love his writing too. The Unwind books are some of my favorites.

Okay. Got my dinner cooking now time to read.

I too love his writing. I need to finish the Unwind books. I want to just read them back to back to enjoy the books.

Unwind was seriously the best book I read last month. I really have to get started on book 2.

Through chapter 7 (view spoiler)[The world is so fascinating! And the fact that places can be transported into Everlost is a genius idea. It was so neat to have them find the twin towers. Just brilliant. (hide spoiler)]

Something I really like about Neal's books are the covers. They are always simple but amazing and draw me in.

I agree about the covers. I think the simplicity makes them better. So many covers these days are too over the top. And they are always being redone to be more extreme.

Mary is an interesting character. Even though I can't tell who she is I'm enjoying her parts

The McGill is great. Can't wait to see what happens next with him.

Allie is getting a little on my nerves. Nick is nice.

Chapter 20 (view spoiler)[ I'm starting to warm up to the McGrill. I feel sorry for him and it will be very weird if he does actually fall in love with Allie. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished. (view spoiler)[I really enjoyed it. Definitely an interesting ending. Nick and Mary are fighting eacother now. And I wonder where Allie and Mikey are going to go. <\spoiler>

Done (view spoiler)[ ummm...interesting. very interesting. I did not really see Mary and McGrill being related. But it makes sense.

Nick I think (maybe Allie) has had the biggest character development. It's cool that Mary went from liking him to hating him in seconds. A twist that I'm sure will be a huge part in the second book.

I'm going to start the second book later tonight. Going to finish the other two I have started first.

I like the transition from book one to book two.
Through chapter 8 (view spoiler)[Allie is getting a bit addicted to this skinjacking. I don't think that will end well. And is Nick going to turn completely into chocolate? So far this one has a bit more action than the first: bombs, fighting off rogue skinjackers. Maybe that'll keep up. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 2 of Everwild

This one has a nice start to it. Great writing.

The start to this one is really good. And I think the writing is even better here than it was in Everlost.

Thought chapter 4 of Everwild (view spoiler)[ first I loved breakdown of the words in the beginning. It was a nice refresh. If I had not just read the first book I would have needed that.

Chapter 31 of Everwild (view spoiler)[ creep factor. These lines gave me a huge creep factor. look behind you now. Do you feel in your heart a slight hastening of its beat, and a powerful sense that something momentous is about to happen?

I've been busy, spent the entire day at work yesterday, so I'm still on Everlost. It's strange how things can cross over too.

Done with Everwild (view spoiler)[ overall a great book. A little more action than he first book. The writing was still great and I loved that the characters are still developing throughout book two.

Excited to see how it picks up in book three. (hide spoiler)]

I'll hopefully finish Everwild tonight or tomorrow.

And yeah, Zuia. The different stuff that can cross into everlost is very interesting.

I won't be starting book three until Monday.

As long as I finish with this one and another book I have, I'll start Monday as well. It may be Tuesday for me though.
