Bambii & Zephyrine
"Oh, I dunno. Whatever is..." What? Closest? No, because then they would feel like they were just slowly loosening the chain this town had set on them, similar to the one Noah had taken off of Eden just a couple of hours ago. "Farthest away. Honestly I don't care, I just want to go."
((What state should we have them live in?))
((What state should we have them live in?))

"Okay." He said, has he keep is attention on the road.
((Maine, then? Just to start?))
A bump on the road shook Eden's sleep into a gasping wake and she jolted to sit, momentarily unaware of her surroundings. Outside the window, she could see her and Noah approaching a small fishing village and she squealed, looking to Noah. "Did I really sleep through all that?"

Eden smiled ruefully, sorry she had slept so much. "No, actually, do you want to pull over and I can drive for a while?" She paused before frowning. "Technically it'd be illegal.. I don't have my license or anything."

Eden marked the exit in her head and looked back to Noah. "We're pretty close, right? Why don't you let me drive?" She patted his arm reassuringly, trusting herself not to drive like an idiot. But if Noah didn't want her to, she wouldn't press it.

Giving Noah a dubious look before Eden's face changed into that of amusement, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "You want me to drive in your lap?" she asked between somewhat high-sounding giggles.

Eden rolled her eyes with a smirk and unbuckled her seat belt, scooting over and pulling herself onto Noah's lap. "You tease," she said, sneaking a kiss onto his cheek. "Let's go."

"At eight and four, right?" Eden could barely contain another chuckle before she sobered up and put her hands at ten and two, glancing quickly at Noah. "This isn't weird at all- normal couples do this all the time." Eden hadn't meant to let the word couple dribble out, but she didn't take it back.

Eden dropped her hands from the wheel with a gasp, leaning back further into Noah. "No, no! That part's the scariest!" She smirked and pulled herself forward again, setting her hands on the wheel. "You know, Noah, I'm not fifteen. I know how to drive."

"Ah, I thought you wanted to die. That's why I'm driving." Eden waited for the highway to be clear for her before she pulled out and began down the highway, comforted by Noah's hands on her waist. She was silent for the few miles before she saw the signs that indicated the upcoming exit she needed to take. Once off of the highway, she said to Noah, "Where to? You want to find someplace to sleep?"

Eden smirked at Noah's petnaming her, but instead of making some snide remark she drove down the road a bit and found a small hotel, parking in a spot before turning to Noah. "This good?"

Eden slid off of Noah into the mid seat thing and snuck a kiss onto his cheek. "Lead the way," she instructed, gesturing to the door."

Noah slightly grinned and nodded has he got out the car and walked to the office door. He looked back at Eden and stopped before going in holding his hand once again, which he was getting use to doing.
((It's okay!))
Eden took Noah's offered hand in hers with a smirk as she followed him to the office, sleepily taking off her hat to run a hand through her slightly messy hair with her other hand.

Eden nodded, about to reply when a small child ran out from a side door behind the desk, giggling once he saw the pair and running off with a squeak. A moment later the tiny pair of hands pushed a tall blonde woman in pajamas out into the foyer, holding a hand to her mouth as she yawned. "Hello. Can I help you?" she asked, taking place behind the desk.

Eden smirked when she saw the little boy make a face at Noah. The woman, seemingly unfazed at the interaction between the stranger and her son, said, "Yes, of course. I'm sorry -just a little tired. You two must be as well. Where are you from?" Eden answered and made other small talk with the woman as she set up their request as fast as she could, obviously wanting to get back to her own bed.

When Eden left the counter with Noah, she matched Noah's wave to the boy with a smile. Once by their room door, Eden let Noah open the door for her but quickly pulled him in after her and pushed the door shut. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked before pressing her lips to his.

Eden's heart pounded as Noah set her down, and she pressed her hand to his chest, pausing in between kisses to sit up a little bit. "Noah?" she breathed, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath before saying, "I love you."

It was kind of a hard thing for Eden to say, but she was sure enough to speak it to Noah. She kissed him back, lifting her other hand to hold to his chest.

Eden grinned and moved in to lay with Noah, resting her head on his upper arm and snuggling in close to him with a content sigh. She closed her eyes for what seemed like a second, though it was probably longer, realizing that she was really tired and knowing that Noah was even more.

A small smile formed on Eden's lips after Noah kissed her forehead, and after a while she felt his breathing slow into a sleep.

A few hours later, Eden awoke in a shake and sat up, cursing lightly when she couldn't remember where she was. But at Noah's body which had been enveloped around her, she sort of remembered, but that didn't help calm her anxiety or quickening heartbeat down. She had had another nightmare, and a couple of tears rolled over her cheeks as she tried to worm out of Noah's arms without awakening him.

She had had another nightmare, and a couple of tears rolled over her cheeks as she tried to worm out of Noah's arms without awakening him.

Eden turned and shook her head. "It's fine- I'm fine." She took a deep, shaking breath and wiped her hair out of her face. "It was just another dream." For a second, she resisted the urge to lean into Noah. But she had already woken him up and didn't want to make him stay up.

"I'm sorry...." Eden whispered as she tried to regulate her breathing as she relented into Noah's arms. She laid her head on his chest and focused on his breathing for support.

When Noah gripped her tighter, Eden let her body shake a bit instead of holding it back while she cries, hiccups following after. She held close to Noah and pressed her forehead into his body as she wrapped her arms around herself protectively -though not from Noah. She took several deep breaths and slowly asked, "Can you distract me? Tell me something about you." She hiccuped again with her face flushed. "Like something happy."

"You... What?" A squeak that could have been another hiccup or a laugh, or even both came from Eden's throat. "Noah, occupation, Santa Clause." Her voice still sounded dull, but she was trying not to. "Why?"

"Oh, so it wasn't some, 'I want to switch out all the colorful clothing with black Gatorade' deal? Bummer." Eden actually laughed this time, letting go of holding her own torso to wrap her arms around Noah. "That's sweet, though."
Noah nodded with a smirk. "You Welcome, and yeah come on." He said before he wrapped his arm around Eden shoulder once again and walked out the mall. He helped her in the car and went and got into the driver side. He looked over at Eden and took a breath before he pulled out the parking lot. "Here we go." He said has they enter onto the highway. They was finally on there way out of the small town they both was grow up in and could wait to get out. "Where we going first?" Noah asked looking over Eden.
