"It's so good to know that in my time of need, I can depend on you to push me on the swing set. And a big kid one at that," Eden teased, every other word being broken up by the wind.

Eden smiled as Noah move off to the side, propelling herself with just her legs as she was silent for a moment or so. "What do you think your friends will figure to have happened to you?" she asked. The thought had occurred to her before but he hadn't questioned him.

Eden pushed her feet into the ground, standing up so fast that she almost knocked herself over but just headed to stand with Noah. She took his hands in hers and looked up at him. "Do you want to go back?"

"No, I just want to be with you. I don't care." Eden didn't like that her voice squeaked a little, wrapping her arms around herself with her brow furrowed.

Eden hated sounding so needy and whiney, but she sort of melted into Noah when he brought into his embrace. She didn't say anything but leaned her head against his chest after a moment and closed her eyes.

Eden took in a deep breath and nudged her forehead into his collarbone before quietly asking, "Why would I want to go home?" into his chest.

Eden didn't pull back, but lifted her head to look him in the eye. "You thought what? That I wanted to leave you?" she questioned, her eyes bleary. She didn't understand why he wouldn't just trust her.

Eden clenched her jaw, lowering her voice a bit even though no one was around. "Noah, if I wanted to leave you i would have already done it. I know you did what you did out of love," she paused, decided to disregard the time he had grabbed her neck, "And I want to trust that you won't hurt me again, but I can't do that if I don't know that you do trust me." She thought back to the first couple days she remembers with him, how she went from being tightly bound in the cold basement to upstairs, to being allowed to walk around, to now.

"Good. I want you to trust me." Eden bit her lower lip, really wanting to not cry. So she took a deep, shaky breath before saying. "I love you too, Noah." She leaned back into him, unwrapping her arms from herself and around him.

Eden pulled away and nodded before straightening her sweater. "Okay," she replied, running a hand through her hair and taking Noah's hand with the other. "Where do you want to go?"

"Um... Sure, but..." Eden looked down at her boring sweater and jeans. "Could we go back so I can change?" She immediately blushed, feeling stupid for sounding so vain.
"Well, I did get that dress to flaunt it for you, but if you think I look beautiful, then what's the point?" Eden joked as they reached the car

"Or off," Eden mused, tilting her head a bit but not saying anything else as she smirked and got in the car as well, shutting the door behind her and buckling in.

Eden had to keep a hand on her mouth to stop from a snarky comment as she realized Noah probably didn't have a plan of where to go, also remembering that he wouldn't want to ask someone. She took Noah's free hand and kissed his fingers before looking out the window.

Eden grinned as she noticed Noah pull into a parking lot. She let go of Noah's hand and unbuckled before getting out of the car and meeting him outside. "This looks good..." she trailed off, catching herself for a second to stand on her tiptoes to kiss Noah's lips.

Eden grinned as Noah kissed her cheek, coming with him to the restaurant's door. Once they were inside, Eden inhaled the scent of food and smiled nicely at the woman who greeted them. "Table for two?" she asked.

"Yeah," Eden replied after looking to Noah for confirmation. The woman smiled and moved aside for them to sit down. Once they had, she pulled out a little notebook. "To drink?" she asked, arching an eyebrow.
"I'll have ice tea," Eden said with a soft nod at the woman. She wrote them down and retreated from the table as Eden took her menu and opened it.

Eden smiled small and leaned her head on Noah's shoulder before looking to her own menu. A couple minutes later the waitress came back with Noah's beer and Eden's tea. "Are you two ready to order?" she asked, obviously not disoriented by Noah's change in seat.

Eden looked at Noah out of the corner of her eye but shrugged. "I was thinking of the tortilla soup..." she said, both to the waitress and Noah. The woman wrote it down and looked at Noah for confirmation that he actually wanted it.

After the lady finished with their order she nodded and walked off. Eden faced Noah slightly with a small smile growing on her face. "Do you know what tortilla soup is?" she asked, amusement in her voice.

"Ahah... And where was your mind?" Eden was still teasing him of course, but she leaned more into Noah, perfectly comfortable showing PDA towards him. She had actually been about to tell him what that soup was, but decided to drop it while she could still tease him.

Eden grinned after Noah pulled away, barely keeping the blush away from her cheeks as the waitress approached. "Here you two go..." She lifted one bowl after another and set them in front of Noah and Eden. "Can I get you anything else?" Eden shook her head, looking to Noah for confirmation.

"So, it's basically chicken, and tomatoes, and spices, with those little crunchy tortilla chip things," Eden told Noah, gesturing to his bowl as she took her spoon and put her napkin in her lap.

Eden swallowed her first spoonful and watched Noah. "How do you like it?" she asked, hoping he didn't think it was too spicy. Personally, she liked the spice.
