Who needs a prince, when you've got a huntsman?
A Perfect Curse

I've actually doing a promo tomorrow for this book, with a scene that's ---not--- in the book.
It's called:
A rare glimpse into the life of the heroine from A Perfect Curse
…two years before her story begins
I'll post a link to it here tomorrow, once it goes live. It was fun to do.

I read Shereen's A Beastly Scandal and it was a really fun read!

My favorite bit: "The legend of the Huntsman and the story that surrounds it was enchanting. I found myself wishing on more than on occasion that it was true..."

I say --will be-- because this book's on the verge of coming out, but A Perfect Curse is not out yet.
However, in anticipation of this Snow White-inspired Regency romance's release, I want to share an interesting article I came across about the history of the Snow White and Seven Dwarfs tale:
The Twisted History of Snow White, by Adam Gidwitz, October 24, 2013
Favorite line - for 3 reasons:
1) 1812 is during the Regency era, when my stories are set
2) context - reminds us there were no "fairies" in the Brothers Grimm tales, and there aren't any in mine either (that occurs in the next Regency series I'm working on)
3) the German pronunciation tip at the end :)
So in 1812, once it became clear that Brentano was not following through on his project, the Brothers Grimm published their own editions of the fairy tales. They didn’t call them “fairy tales,” though, since there is not a single fairy in their book. In German, the Grimm tales are called Kinder- und Hausmärchen, which means “Children’s and Household Tales,” and is pronounced “KIN-der oont house-MYARE-cccccccchen.” That last syllable relies on you hocking a loogie while speaking. Good luck with that.
