Have you read Divergent and Insurgent? What can you say about the books?

I've read Divergent and Insurgent. It was entertaining (for me). I like Divergent than Insurgent though.

Me, I like Insurgent more. But I don't like Tris and Four there. They kept on fighting in Insurgent. Edith Prior bothers me. Haha.

Divergent and Insurgent are some of the best books I've read. And I agree that Divergent is better than Insurgent. I hope that the last book won't end up like Mockingjay.

I enjoyed reading Divergent and Insurgent. I really liked the factions concept. I liked the events in Divergent though than Insurgent but both were well written. First thing that went on my mind when I started reading it was that it had the Hunger Games feel, which I really enjoyed too.

I liked these books too, I enjoyed thinking about the concept of having factions and thought what faction I most possibly be in if I were there (Abnegation/Amity probably).
I liked Divergent than Insurgent, this actually follows my usual reaction trend for trilogies/series- I like the 1st one better and feel sort of unsatisfied when I finish all books. Hopefully this won't be the case for this one - I'm really looking forward to October's release for the final book. :-)

I agree with you because they were arguing on things a lot and Tris was sort of annoying. Insurgent is a cliffhanger. I want to read the final book so bad. Haha

Hi guys! :) I am moving this thread to the Open Forum folder because it seems that there is no intention to read the books (Divergent & Insurgent) in the future but only to discuss about them. By the way, I also intend to read Divergent this year and the discussions here has motivated me to start it up soon. :)

I enjoyed reading Divergent and Insurgent which reminded me a lot of Hunger Games (which I loved). However, I was not entirely convinced of the 'factions' concept in Divergent.

i haven't read it yet..but its on my list..received good feedback about this book. :)

Divergent and Insurgent are good books..good reads if I may say. I honestly love it, but I just don't like reading books that would keep on reminding me of another books I've read (I'm referring to The Hunger Games). Nevertheless, I'll still recommend these books. :)

Big letdowns. I just didn't get the hype, is all. It reminds me of Infernal Devices series. It got me all excited and then pffft. Not for me.

ive read divergent and did entertained me a lot.. i heard theres the third book already which is allegiant.

nabasa ko na ang two books..though i like Divergent than Insurgent.i took me days to finish Insurgent,meaning di na masyado akong na hook aa story..but over all, theyre amazing pa rin.
