Michael de Salazar | 8 comments I'm currently reading Vladimir Nabokov's Invitation to a Beheading.

In one of the chapters the main character is reading a novel about an oak who witness some historical events for 600 years. One of the encounters is with Ahasver - the Wandering Jew.

There's no author mentioned so I wonder if it's a real book? The plot sounds really interesting so it would be kind of a harsh trick now that I'm so eager to find it.

Michael, I'm moving this to "Just to Chat" since you're not looking for a book. Or rather, you are looking for a hypothetical book, which may or may not exist.
