I want everyone to stand and name your ancestors from the last ten generations. Matri-lineal, please."
She called on WHOEVER POSTS FIRST.

"I see," Nuparu muttered, chiding her.
"For homework, you will all be learning your genealogy. Were your ancestors farmers? Poetters? Miners? Whatever task your family is rooted withing, you will report to me. I will assign tasks based on your history tomorrow. For now, tell the people next to you your family line for the last ten generations..."
Nuparu stared at Zoey.
"Or as far back as you can remember."
