I couldn't find a Kindle version on Amazon. Is it PDF-only?"
It is in PDF only on Goodreads.com, but my novels are also online for free on both Free-Ebooks.net and Foboko.com, which have my books in multiple versions, including for Kindle, I believe. Basic membership on those two sites is free, you just need to register as a member, and the books on these sites are all free. I actually don't sell my books anywhere and I write purely as a hobby. I hope that you will enjoy my novel.

The murder of two CIA agents in Spain prompts the sending of a team of agents to the Cadiz area to investigate a rumored illegal weapons deal with potentially devastating military and geopolitical consequences if it goes through. While that weapons deal will prove to be even more lethal than expected, the CIA team sent to Spain will also find out that part of the challenge they will face will be to recognize who is a friend and who is a foe.
With FRIENDS AND FOES, I tried to write a realistic novel about how two CIA paramilitary agents would work on a covert mission overseas. I wanted to avoid the 'James Bond superspy and cold-as-ice assassin stereotypes and used my 27 years experience in military intelligence (including two years in Lebanon, 1982-84) to guide my writing. I sincerely hope that the readers of this group will like it. For those who may be wondering why my books are free, it is because writing for me is a hobby and a pleasure and because I got tired of being rejected by publishers in the past, so I said 'the hell with it' and decided that what I wanted was to make others get some enjoyment from my hobby. I may not make a cent, but I sure am a satisfied man now. If this novel gets a positive reception, I may very well write more books featuring the same two main characters.
