Finished chapter 7. I don't know. Was the first one like this? Was Matty like this? It seems a relationship between an adult and his child. And pretty boring too so far

I think in many ways Matty has always been childish. He's a brat!

Matty Marcus is extremely high maintenance and getting on my last nerve. I will be glad if/when Rob realizes that no matter how much he loves Matty their relationship is sick. He's killing himself spiritually and emotionally in order to love someone else, which doesn't work for me. It's almost painful to watch.

wanted to tell you... about Training Complex I read the humbler scene but still nothing

I did not like that scene. I was not thrilled with this book. Matty was too whiny, and Rob was too passive for most of the book. Perhaps reading about eating disorders/disordered eating isn't appealing to me. I have to also say that this was the weirdest D/s relationship ever. Matty brought topping from the bottom to a new level!!! The more I think about it, the less I like this book. It just was not for me. Beneath the Stain is so much better. It wasn't what we (my fellow BR'ers) expected at all. We were pleasantly surprised, so if you decide to DNF this and move on to Stain, I will understand. Please don't give up on Stain!

I'm reading BTS right now but I don't want to DNF training complex. I'll come back to it soon since I am almost half way through it. But what you said is already clear from these pages I read. Plus it felt to me sooo boring and like the story was dragging (?).
