Bookworm Belles Moderators (BookwormBelles) | 88 comments Ladies, Let's discuss Fahrenheit 451! Just remember to hide any spoilers :)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I've already read this... It's just amazing. But also a little weird.

Ashley ann Bodnar (ashleyann103) loved this book in highschool read it again a couple months ago and don't understand why I did. it was still a good book I just didn't like the ending

I actually hated this book in high school, but then again the only book I liked that I HAD to read was Speak. I also hated The Great Gatsby and I reread it in college and ended up doing my senior thesis on it. I'm definitely excited to reread this one and see if my perspective changes.

I hated it in high school, and then I had to read it again in college for comp... and I LOVED it! I think you just actually have a more mature mind to really appreciate it maybe.

I think so, too. I was in 10th grade when I read it. I also think it depends on the teacher as well.

For sure!

That's how I feel about The Great Gatsby. When I read it in 7th grade, I thought it was the most boring story ever. All I remembered was that there was a car, a green light, and probably someone named Gatsby...maybe. Now I love it!

As for Fahrenheit 451, I want to read it, but I can't afford it ATM and just have too much on my metaphorical plate. I tried to find it on a couple of online libraries, but had no luck. Maybe another time.

LostInParadise (lost_in_paradise) I like this book! It was a little weird at the beginning but then it became really interesting :)

Debbie I read this book just after college. Twenty years later it is just as good. Crazy how a book written so long ago is just as relevant today!

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) It is amazing, isn't it?
