As Patrick mentioned here, we have a bit of a backlog at the moment, so it's taking longer than usual. Sorry about that! Our team is working on clearing the backlog as fast as they can.

I have the same problem, but I'm wondering if the fact that my books are not published is keeping me from claiming my author page?The author page that I'm trying to claim: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
Not published yet won't keep you from claiming profile so long as books are on goodreads where there is an author page to claim :)
Fill in as much detail as you can, author profiles are less likely to be approved where there is very little data on the books especially expected/ published date

The Author FAQ mentions it can take "a few business days" to get an author page approved, but how long is a few?
