It's that time again! Anyone any suggestions as to what we might read in August??

I forgot to mention that I will be running the suggestion process until Sunday 12th as:
a) it's a long month and
b) most importantly, I am holidays with my family for 2 weeks and dependant on free Wi-Fi and my mobile phone to organize everything.

I'm going to nominate Go Down, Moses by William Faulkner.

I'd like to nominate Hawkeye, Vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon. If you like the current Marvel Comics movies, then this should be fun. It is a great easy summer read.

Mary suggested "I'd like to suggest anything by Ivan Doig, especially Bucking the Sun. This tale and Doig's writing style is so engrossing that I felt a part of it. Give it a try. Also, anything by Joe Abercrombie. I've read all of his books and am on book 2 of his latest young adult series, Half the World and Half a King. I could go on with more books but will refrain!"
