"I hope so." She muttered. "Anyways the thing i wanted to discuss. Remember we wanted an alliance between Lights and Darks?"

Will nodded. "Yes. I remember." He bit his lip, thinking.
"I was thinking about that." She unfolded the map in front of them. "We have to start with something really vague, right? I mean, we can't just break thousands of years regulation in one strike."
Will nodded. "Yeah." He looked Over the map.
"So I was thinking...look at this. There's a land going of mine going right through yours. It's empty, and I was thinking, about building a neutral market. A market for both Darks and Lights for to share; obviously i'll put more peacekeepers of mine there, but I think it's a nice gesture." She bit her lip. "What do you think?"
Will looked at the space and nodded. "Yeah. I think that's a good idea. For peacekeepers, maybe we could take some from both our sides, and if they are willing, they could be working with both sides. That way that space is protected by people who aren't going to act differently based on what side they are on...?" Will suggested.
"That's good." She tucked her hair away. "So you're up for it?"
Will smiled faintly and nodded. "Yes."
She smiled back, relieved. "Don't announce it just yet, wait for a bit, let the rally here calm down. If you change your mind, just write to me, okay?"
"Okay. Before we announce it to either side, we need to get our peacekeepers together and figure out how we want the market to work." Will added. He took a notebook from his bag and started writing on a blank page.
"Right. Shouldn't we have equal number of peacekeepers?"
"yeah." Will looked at the area of the map, thinking. He took his pencil and lightly sketched on the paper.
She watched his attempt on drawing. "God, you don't really sketch much do you?"
Will rolled his eyes. "I'm not an artist, I know. But whatever." He wrote some more stuff in his notebook.
She bit her lip, a bit lost in thought
Will ran a hand through his hair, still writing.
She watched him, fiddling with her fingers
She waited for him to be done. "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah. Go ahead." He nodded, looking at her.
"On a personal note, what do you think about this?" She asked
"I think it's a good idea..." He shrugged.
"But?" She noticed the hesitation in his voice
"It's going to be hard to convince people to have shops there and for people to visit them." Will sighed
"Yeah." She agreed a bit. "But they have to do it someone. We don't have that much markets over here anyways."
Will nodded. He ran a hand through his hair.
"So how's everything going over at yours?" She asked, genuinely curious.
"Complicated still. Trying to figure out a lot of stuff..." Will shrugged. "What about here?"
"Definitely not okay." She tried for a smile. "Yet."
"Well if you need help, you can always contact me," he said gently.
"Wouldn't it look suspicious?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Not if we arrange it like these meetings," will shrugged.
"This meeting was about genuine politics." She admitted. "Well, yes, I suppose. Though I dare say its time for you to leave. No offense or anything."
Will nodded. He put his notebook in his bag before standing.
"Take care of yourself." She stood up too
"You too." He slung his bag over his shoulder.
"Don't stress too much." She said softly.
He nodded. "You too. You'll be good at this job..." Will said quietly.
"I'm not sure about that." She managed a smile.
"You will. It may take some time but you will.." He reassured.
"Whatever you say." She shrugged.
"I'll see you later." She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek.
"See you later." He whispered, smiling some. Will quietly left the office.
Alina was in her chambers, sealing her letters. She was expecting Will's arrival, though for the moment she had forgotten everything about it.
Will arrived. He was escorted to where she was. He knocked on the door.
Will pushed open the door. He smiled, seeing her.
