Bill Jacks (BillJacks) Some people are having trouble figuring out how to download my book, because they are unable to read Kindle format on either their phone or laptop. Does anyone have a link handy that I can send them? For a mobile device, laptop, or both.

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 2491 comments I'm on iPad or I would link, but a simple search for kindle app would give an answer. Or directly on Amazon, they ask, "don't have a Kindle download an app and they have links.

If tomorrow when I'm back home no one linked it yet, I'll do it. Sorry for not being helpful. :(

Iffix Santaph | 324 comments I know there's a basic program for Kindle in the app store. Tell them to search for "Kindle" in Play or Windows 8 store to find the compatible app.

Iffix Santaph | 324 comments I use it actually, but it calls itself Kindle, so yeah, that's the reason for the vague name.

Bill Jacks (BillJacks) Well...I've said this to everyone who has the problem, but they still can't figure it out. I think it's safe to assume that at least 99% of Goodreads members are more tech savvy than I am; so I'd rather someone else tell me EXACTLY what link they need. I don't trust myself. Thank you, though.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Right under the picture of the cover on your sales page (full site, not mobile) it has a spot for anyone who does not have the app to download it, however, if they are on an Android or Apple device, the best and easiest way to get the app is to simply search for 'kindle' in their app store. The official app icon is a blue tree logo and Amazon is listed as the developer.

J.D. Cunegan (jdcunegan) | 240 comments I read either on my Kindle Fire or on my Windows 8 app. I have a Kindle app on my smartphone, too, but I can't read on a screen that small.

Bill Jacks (BillJacks) @Matt-Awesome, thanks.

@Christina-That actually worked...no idea what approach they were taking in the first place.
