Next door neighbor brings him food and when he realizes that she is recuperating herself he steps up to the plate. Another possessive protective alpha that makes you wanna swoon.

Zeth Mayfair from Burn by Callie Hart (book 3).
He is dangerous, dark, capable, and knows who he is. He's a mafia hit man whose having a gradual change of heart.
What makes him my hero of the month though is that, as this series continues, what I love about Zeth is how he accepts people for who they are. He doesn't try to change people. Even if he doesn't agree with them or like them, he doesn't force his view or way of thinking on others.
This includes the heroine - he doesn't try to change her but really appreciates who she is right now. He supports her when she needs support and watches out for her, however he totally lets her take responsibility for her own life and choices.

Both of those heroes sound scrumptious.
