S. Rivera (sjacksonrivera) | 47 comments Over the weekend, the KU/KOLL units went crazy. Sales are still trickling in, but I'm up to almost 1600 KOLL units since Friday.
Does anyone know why there is such a sudden interest, but only in that area, not sales. I did offer Part 2 for free for 2 days for the 4th of July, but it I only gave away 215--no where near the 1600 for part 2.

I'm baffled and want to know what I did or what's happening. I'd appreciate your insight and ideas.

Emma Jaye | 164 comments Those aren't borrows, they are pages read. They have changed the whole way KU is counted.

Mellie (mellie42) | 644 comments KU is now based on pages read, not units borrowed.

And the projected payout will be something like half a cent per page read.

J.R. James | 173 comments Wouldn't it be great if those were the number of borrows? I think it's what we all dream of when we check the dashboard - that suddenly we will have been discovered overnight.. but, sorry, as has already been pointed out, it's just a change in the way KU royalties are calculated - it looks good though! Hang in there - who knows... maybe one day...
