Silvia and Manda, if you submitted a suggestion in a previous poll we're asking that you wait 2 days before submitting another. We just thought it may give more people the chance to participate.
But I'll definitely put the suggestions on hold and add them to the list if we don't get the 20 suggestions in two days :)

I think for this poll we should keep it to those who haven't suggested any previous topics. Just because the polls open the same day every week and that schedule may not work for everyone. But if it seems like it isn't an issue and it takes a while for the 20 to fill up then we can adjust the rule for future polls (making it only for the previous poll).
Does that seem okay?
Does that seem okay?
When I suggested the rule, it was just about the previous poll, not several ones, because I don't want that the most active members have no possibilities to suggest weeks. I'm ok to use a bigger rule for some polls, but not all the time ;)

yay, I finally got a suggestion in! lol

What I meant to say was - a book that you associate with someone special (as in the book conjures memories of someone special).
Hope that makes sense!

Just for clarification, because I know some members have expressed a distaste of reading about evil/bad people, that's not what I mean. "Anti-hero" means any character who lacks the normal archetypal qualities a hero possesses, like courage, bravery, loyalty, strength etc. It doesn't have to be about a bad character. It could be about an underdog, a character who is shy or self conscious or a character that is morally ambiguous. I just wanted to make sure members didn't misconstrue my suggestion.
3 spots left :)
@Kirin: I saved your spot, so you can edit your message to add your suggestion.
@Katie > yes, it makes sense :)
@Peter > yes, Pratchett for example has some nice/good anti-heroes.

How it will work:
The topics for the 2016 RC list will be determined through 13 mini-polls. Each user will vote for their favorite 4 topics in each mini-poll, which will then add up to the 52 topics (13 polls x 4 topics/poll=52 weekly topics). Suggestions for each poll will be open for one week (or until 20 suggestions are received) and then opened up for voting. This timeframe allows for a completed list at the beginning of December.
Third poll:
Suggestions: July 6-July 11
Voting: July 11-July 19
- Since suggestions seem to come in fast, I will go ahead and create and post the poll as soon as the suggestions are complete and still leave voting open until July 19.
Rules:
- One suggestion per poll per user
- Suggestions close July 11 or after 20 total suggestions, whichever comes first
- Don't submit an idea in the first 2 days, if you submitted one (of the 20) in a previous poll
