YA Buddy Readers' Corner ♥ discussion

July 2015 will be YA Buddy Reader's Corner ♥'s 3 year anniversary, so to celebrate we will be holding our third MMC - Mega Month Challenge!



This challenge will be made up of several seperate challenges. Each challenge will have it's own winners and prizes, and then points from each challenge will be added together to give us some overall winners for the MMC.

This challenge will run from August 1st to August 31st, with winners announced on September 1st.

Please note:
- you can take part in as many of these challenges as you choose, but participating in more than one challenge should allow you to gain more points, and stand a better chance of winning the overall MMC.
- You can combine challenges - you can read one book which will count for all three reading challenges (but you can only count it once in each individual challenge)
eg: if you read , you could use this for Disney blocks, Page Count Contest, and Hangman (as long as it fits the criteria in each challenge), but you couldn't use it twice within Disney blocks (for example).
- GBR's for August will be chosen via poll, from books which Abbie and I have picked. There will be 8 GBR's, from a range of genres.

- Individual Challenge Guidelines and Rules Must be followed.
- Regular buddy reading guidelines, challenge guidelines and review guidelands must also be adhered to during this challenge.
- Winning individual challenges does not affect your eligability to win the overall MMC.

Count me in. Wow! People weren't joking when they said they needed to read lighter this month to save for August...

Jamie, I have found that the worst challenge is, oddly enough, the non-reading challenge... I spent a good few hours and pressed my sister into service for that, some of the descriptions/covers were that hard.

It's maddening!

Will we be having 8 group buddy reads??

The non-reading challenge takes us a long time as well ;)

Not heard them called that before! We had some really interesting discussions over what things were called in different places, I remember us also confusing everyone with 'biscuit' (cookie) and 'ice lolly' (popsicle)
