After the End RP discussion

Felix stumbled blindly in the mall, being his usual clumsy self. He hoped that Axel was still behind him, because all he could think about was getting away from the crazy kid demon and the rain. Everything seemed to want to kill him today.

((Never heard of it either.))

Axel followed Felix and looked around, "I never heard of this place..." She moved her wet hair out of her face before sitting down in a chair nearby and kicking her feet onto the table, "So Felix, explain to me your fear of small amounts of water falling from the sky please." Axel winked playfully before adding, "Enlighten me." She was glad that they escaped safely from the young boy who wanted him them dead. The end really messed him up...

Felix sighed. Time to explain his fear for the millionth time and get weird looks again. "It's not just rain, honestly." He said, "I'm just...Afraid of drowning. Large bodies of water. Water that seems to be attacking me, like rain. And I know that sounds weird." He muttered. "You probably think I'm crazy, but it's not crazy when you almost died from drowning when you were a little kid and never getting over that fear." Felix added, annoyed with his hair that was probably going to stay wet for the rest of the day. "I also never take baths, and I suppose I can tolerate showers since there's an off switch..."

"I don't think your crazy Felix, I understand now...Sorry about that, if I knew this I would have found cover faster," Axel softly replied. She felt bad and tried to imagine how he felt at the time. A small kid drowning, trying to stay afloat and kept his heart beating. Axel especially felt bad that his near death experience in water scarred him for life. Of all things water. She loves water, especially rain; it was probably one of her favorite things in nature. The sound of it hitting the roof and the windows just brought comfort to her. Now the sound wasn't so loud since they're in the mall, but she knew it was still pouring hard outside. Their clothes would probably stay wet the whole day which brought a little discomfort to her. She hoped though, that it wouldn't get her sick. That's the last thing she would want: to catch a cold.

"It's fine." Felix muttered, glad that Axel didn't think that he was crazy. He remembered straight after that, his mother became more protective of him, and until he was old enough to take showers, his mother had to help him get into baths. "So...I've told you my biggest fear, what's yours?" He leaned in, looking as serious as he could get.

She pulled her feet of the table and tensed up a bit thinking of her fear, "Umm...well, I am afraid of heights. Just the idea of falling off or getting pushed off scares me...it's just so tall and makes me dizzy just looking down." Axel glanced up occasionally at Felix to see if she can read his expressions. She knew it wasn't as bad as his. Nothing bad happened to her in order for her to fear her fear, it just happened that way.

"Heights, eh? Does the 'don't look down' thing ever work?" Felix asked, curious. He didn't really mind heights, unless it was from a diving board or a cliff overlooking an ocean or something.

Axel laughed, "The 'don't look down' thing actually makes it worse. You actually have to look down just out of curiosity. It's human nature Felix."

"Okay, next time we end up on some Ferris wheel somehow I'll be sure to not say that." He joked, grinning.

"Don't you dare take me on a Ferris wheel!!" Her eyes widen in fear. Ferris wheels where so tall and just the thought of falling of frightened her big time. She hugged herself just imagining the drop.

"Axel, they're really slow." Felix reasoned. "Besides, you get an amazing view too. If you don't focus on your fear, that is..." He added, thinking.

She tightened her grip on herself, "I just cannot stop thinking of my fear of falling down. It's impossible Felix! I'm just...it's just...the drop...it's so far down."

"Even if there's something there to catch you?" He asked, wondering if he should change the topic to something else...Like, kittens.

"Something like what? It's not like they have one of those cushion things under Ferris Wheels..." She mumbled more to herself than to Felix.

"Yeah, but..." Felix racked his brain. "What about a tightrope? There's usually a net under those, right?" He pondered.

"What if the net breaks though?!" Axel began to imagine falling of a fifty story tightrope and landing on the net that suddenly breaks at her touch. She shivers at the thought and tries to take it off her mind by thinking of things she likes like chocolate. It doesn't work...and she holds herself in fear hoping that it never happens to her.

"Right, well...I'll catch you if you fall!" Felix exclaimed, trying to reassure her. "Besides, you had to go through facing the rain with me, so I think I owe you one anyway. Even if it never happens." He nodded, running a hand through his hair to see if it was still wet. It had mostly dried.

She smiles slightly reassured, "Thank you Felix. But I'm not sure you can carry me, I might be too heavy for you." Axel is light for her height and doesn't look too heavy. She was just messing with him with her own weight. Glancing up to see him run his hand through her hair she kindly says, "Don't worry, your hair is fine. You can't even tell you were in the rain."

"Haha, very funny." Felix said, looking at her small figure. He liked to see that she was making a joke, maybe it took her mind off the subject of fears. "Thanks, that's reassuring." He replied, not feeling like he was an icicle as much anymore.

"I'm glad to hear that, Felix," she gets up and begins looking around the shop, "Have you ever been here before?" She walks backwards to look at him as she speaks but ends up crashing but over a mannequin. Axel falls to the ground with a yelp her bag falling with her and her vials rolling out.

(In case you're wondering FANZZ is a store that sells sports gear and sports apparel. Tbh, I never heard of this store. XD ))

"Er, no, I haven't." He said awkwardly, picking up the mannequin. "I'm not really one to wear this kind of stuff, you know?" Felix straightened the clothes on the mannequin while bending down to help Axel pick up her vials, examining them to see if they were broken.

((Same.))

She gets up and begins stuffing the vials into her bag quickly sliding her fingers across the cold glass to feel for any cracks, "I wouldn't touch those if I were you. It doesn't seem like any of them cracked, but I rather not risk it. One could have broken on the way down, and they're not exactly friendly toward humans."

Felix quickly handed Axel the vial that he was holding. "What exactly are inside those things? Do they blow up or something?" He asked, remembering the kid from the library that was so afraid of it. "And how can you touch them if other humans can't?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Some have either H1N1 influenza, marburg virus, ebola virus, rabies, HIV, hantavirus, dengue, or rotavirus," Axel recites by memory, "It's a power that I have. I can control bacteria and viruses. Those are the ones that I have collected throughout the years so far. That is why other humans cannot since I have to power." She stuffs the vials he handed to her into her bag.

((It's okay, vacation sounds fun.))

Felix blinked at Axel, taking all of the words in. "So...How did you manage to acquire all of those things? Is bacteria attracted to you or something?" He stopped. "Wait, that sounded weird, never mind..." He said, making a face.

She laughs, "Attracted to me? That is a very weird way of putting it. And to answer your question I have got the viruses from a lab." Axel remembers the first time she discovered her power. She was only five years old when she was running from some bullies. A door nearby was opened so she climbed the fence and ran through it. She crashed into a table and virus vial's fell to the ground breaking. A scientist standing near her quickly got affected and dropped to the floor dragging away to save his life. He was too late...he was affected. She wasn't and found out that she could move them when she moved her hands out in front of her. They slid a foot across the floor away from her... Curious of what she was capable of, she saved the ones on the floor and escaped the lab before she was discovered.

"So you're, like, a scientist?" He smiled crookedly, trying to imagine that. "I wish I've got some sort of power, but nope. All I can do are make lame jokes and chuck knives around for defense." Felix said, looking at Axel admiringly. He thought it was cool that she could control viruses.

"To be honest, it's not a power I want...I just happened to get stuck with them somehow..." She gets up from the floor remembering how half her family was killed because she accidentally let the viruses loose and how the other had died when she was trying to control them.

Felix nodded, stopping himself from asking why. "Well, it means you're special I guess. I bet you have these powers for a reason, yah know?" He believed in fate, destiny. No matter how weird that sounded.

She nods her head at that not fully believing him. If it was before her second accident, she would have believed him. But after everything happened, she stopped believing in fate and destiny. It was too hard for her to think that it was meant for her family to die at her doing. Without saying anything she straps her bag back on and stares down at the floor sadly.

Oh no, what did you say again Felix...Um, um, um...How to make someone happy...Uh... "Hey, wanna get ice cream? Do they even have ice cream here? Or we could go, you know, do something...What do you like to do?" He rambled awkwardly, mentally slapping himself. He hoped that he hadn't offended Axel in any way. That would be bad.

She wasn't offended in anyway, just depressed and missing her family. She looks up and laughs softly pushing aside the memories that haunted her, "Ice cream sounds fine. Do you know where we can go? This store looks like it won't have any." Axel smiles at him to show him that she is fine and that it'll take a lot to offend her.

Axel looks at her watch, "I'm sorry, Felix. I can't. I have to go now, but maybe I'll see you around sometime and we could go out for ice cream?" She hugs him quickly before running off to be where she has to be in a few minutes.

Felix was about to say something when she abruptly hugged him, leaving him standing there, confused. "Oh, okay. Yeah, sure. See yah." He said, as Axel left. He wondered what that was all about.

Cynthia walks in carefully. She ducks under some clothes and walks over to the cashier. Under the table she pulls out two guns that she has taped under. Through the city, she hides her guns in case of any emergency or if they somehow get destroyed like how they did earlier. She gets up from the floor and aims at Felix not knowing who he is, she confidentially asks, "Who are you? What faction? Age? And if you have any powers? Answer honestly or I will shoot?"

"Holy--" Felix raised his hands slowly staring wide eyed at the girl who started pelting questions at him. "I'm Felix, STW agent, 17, and no I don't have any powers. I answered, okay? Now please don't shoot me." He rambled, staring at the guns nervously.

((Hehe, I think he's 17. I've forgotten. XD))

She puts on of the guns away, but keep the one still pointing at him. Eyeing him to see if he's telling the truth she questions him again, "How do I know if you don't have any powers?" Cynthia keeps her eyes on him, but won't shoot unless he tries to attack her or makes any sudden movement.

One gun down, one more to go. Felix thought. "Come on, who do you think I am? If I did have any power, wouldn't I have used it on you already?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Besides, killing people isn't really my thing anyway. Unless you decide to hurt me, but that's a different situation." He rambled. He always rambled when he got nervous.

"That is true..." She began to put her gun down and then remembered the last person who she ran into. He used his powers in her and she didn't even noticed. So she aims at the ground and shoots. No, he didn't fry my guns. Cynthia thinks and then puts the gun away. "I'm Cynthia, by the way. Sorry about that. I'm a little eggy especially after some stupid kid shoot me twice. I'm going to get him later..." She goes of in thought.

Felix jumped a bit when she fired the gun at the ground, laughing nervously. "Cynthia, okay. You have a name. That's nice to know. I'm Felix...Did I say that already? Yeah, I did. Never mind then." He rambled. "Wait, someone shot you twice?" He asked, blinking in astonishment.

"Yes! That stupid kid tried to kill me the library today. I'll get him for that. He'll regret doing that to me once I show him who he shouldn't mess with," she puts the gun away, "And you, Felix, better not rat this out to the child. If not you will pay for his doing, understand?" Cynthia makes her way Felix and eyes him to see judge him.

Felix widened his eyes, thinking that maybe Cynthia had some anger issues... "Oh, that kid! He tried to kill me and Axel!" He blurted, remembering how creepy the little kid was. He definitely had issues too.
