Horror Haiku Q&A with Ryan Mecum discussion

To anyone interested, I've started to write at least 1 haiku a day on Twitter. They will tend to be less creepy and more about everyday life. Just something to keep my haiku writing moving along.

I'm curious about the formatting. I know most haiku is 5 7 5 rhythm, but I've also read somewhere that it should be 3 5 3. Which is correct? If a 3 5 3 rhythm isn't haiku, what is it?

Don't know what a 3 5 3 syllable poem would be called, but I follow the traditional 5 7 5 for my haiku.
