Any James Grippando fans here?

I've never read any of his books but he was recommended to me by someone who said he writes legal thrillers in the vein of John Grisham but that he's more graphic.

This was his debut novel. It's book # 1 in his Jack Swyteck series.

It's about a hot-shot defense attorney, with a client that he believes is innocent, in a death penalty case, in a state with a pro-death penalty Governor.

Oh yeah, the hot-shot defense attorney is also the pro-death penalty Governor's son.

Don, I haven't read any of Grippando's books. Sounds gripping. :)

This book was good.

One of the Goodreads reviews of The Pardon said: "James Patterson was quoted as saying that he read this book, all 400 pages, in one sitting."

I don't think I could do that if my life depended on it. My eyes would get tired and I'd get sleepy. :)

But it sounds like a good suspense novel.
