10.6 Storm Chasers
In the US, spring is a common time for tornadoes. Read a book set in a "Tornado Alley" state: Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado, or a "Dixie Alley" state: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky.
Required: If the book's setting isn't clear in the Goodreads description, please identify the state when you post.

Bea I'm hoping to do Roses. It is a long book that I was hoping to read for Winter, but I am only 42 pages into it. Setting is Texas.

Chaitra (chaitra_ganesh) | 518 comments I wanted to clarify this book will work - Sleeping in Eden: A Novel. The goodreads description says it's set in Blackhawk, Iowa.

Nikki Has anyone read Dark Places by Gillian Flynn ?. It seems to be set in both Missouri and Kansas, can anyone confirm this ?. Also if it is those two states is it okay for a book to be across 2 listed states.

Thank you :)

It's ok if a book crosses states, but there should be a strong tie to the listed states.

NoveList states Missouri and references Kansas and Oklahoma, that works

Quenby (quenby23) Would Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth work? It is set in Illinois (listed) and Michigan (not listed).
