Clayton Bidding (claytonbidding) I may have actually heard about these books here, so if there is already a thread going let me know.

I have fallen quickly and unabashedly in love with the Undead books by Mary Janice Davidson. They remind me of Sex In The City and Buffy smashed into one. Ya know, if Buffy were undead, still able to keep keep her soul, and had rich friends instead of the Scoobies. The lead character is named Elizabeth Taylor and goes by Betsy. She is shallow, but has good intentions. The books are quick reads but i find them hilarious and entertaining. Anyone else feel the same?

Seretyx | 6 comments I really enjoyed the first 3 or 4 books but then got a bit bored - but those first few books were extremely funny and great to read :-) They are somewhat Sex in the City-ish and the shoe obsessing is hilarious - I never thought people could geek out over shoes.

Clayton Bidding (claytonbidding) People can't geek out over shoes? Oh sweetie, we need to go shopping! I currently own 18 pairs... My Cole Haan oxfords are my pride and joy, and then we go down to that $19.99 pair of sneakers I bought at Payless. I do not discriminate a cute shoe. But geek out? Most definitely. Oh God I sound so vapid right now... But listening to Nancy Wu narrate the audio version of these books kinda brings that side out in me :-)

Jami Zehr (jamizehr) | 4 comments I love the Undead books, so happy to see that other people read them too. I like how every six books is its own story arc and the characters stay fresh and exciting.

I like the author's other books as well. Especially Me, Myself, and Why which I consider closer to sci/fi than where it is shelved in bookstores (romance, what?).
