Get your agent to slow down and explain what is going on, after all, he doesn't get his cut unless you agree with any deal.
Ask WHO is the publisher and if it's not a name you know, Google them and find out more.
DO NOT panic, slow everyone else down, it's YOUR WORK that is under discussion.
If all else fails, stick with those you already know, trust and have already helped you get this far.
GOOD LUCK.
My first novel, Courier
Courier
is going to be released Monday on Amazon as a self-publish through Createspace. I sent in the final changes on Monday and then IMMEDIATELY got an incomprehensible voice message from my agent telling me, I think, that a publisher in the UK was expressing interest.
I know that I'm complaining about a surfeit of riches but WHAT DO I DO NOW?
I've spent about 4K getting this through Createspace and basically rewrote the entire book. I've been setting up websites and twitter feeds and everything I've been told works for marketing and publicity. Do I give all that up?
Help! I need guidance.
