L.Y. Levand (lylevand) You could try Kindle Direct Publishing on Amazon. I've also heard from lots of people that use Smashwords.

But before you try and publish, you may want to find an editor or beta readers, and get an awesome cover.

Shaun Horton | 10 comments Definitely find an editor or some beta readers. No matter how good a writer you are, there will be little details you miss that some fresh eyes will be able to catch. As I'm reading more self-published books, I'm finding a lot with serious flaws, be it spelling, punctuation, homophones, perspective or even large plot holes.

As well, a good cover will go a long way to making your book a success, as it's the first thing many people will see and it will be their sole information when they decide to buy your book or pass it up. There are guidelines for covers on the major self-publishers sites or you can buy pre-made covers or even hire people to do one for you, just have to look around the internet. The other side of the cover is the book's description. Once they get past the cover, this is what they'll get and look over to see if they continue to be interested or not.

Look around here on Goodreads, as well, read up on KDP and Smashwords. Those are the two biggest ebook self-publishers at the moment that I'm aware of. KDP only prints to the Kindle systems though, while Smashwords does not. Smashwords prints to about 90% of other ebook readers though.
