We are 9, yes only 9 (!) members away from 2000! This group is growing leaps and bounds and I'm so proud to know you all, lol. I remember when we had 63 members, only 3 months ago :-)

I love my job!!! I've just had a week off and now I'm getting two 4 day weekends!!! yay!!! How is your week going?

Has anyone any inkling of an idea when Markus Zuzaks new book is going to be out? I read it was due September 2011 but still only available for pre order on amazon. It is called Bridge of Clay allegedly !!

I have one of those too...part of the reason I'm so glad about the time off! Today I seem to be missing things from home, the chocolate and now you've made me remember that you have better pain drugs than over here....maybe I should move back just for chocolate and co-codamol!!!

I am happy to be with your group.

I would ask a Q and hope someone help.
I am working now to improve my English particularly in reading , so I read English books and I need your suggestion with the books you think It is good for someone like me. My English level high Advance I can understand almost everything I just feel my brain take long time to process what I read. However, the other skills like speaking listening. It is fine and I can catch up easy in my daily life.

* note: I do not like to read any fiction books even in my mother tong Loool

Joanne - Yup, my painkillers seem to be working!

Ahmad - I have to say I very rarely read non-fiction books (I can't remember that last time I actually read one) so I can't help. Hopefully someone around here will be a non-fiction fan ::fingers crossed::

@ joanne: yeah chocolate in Europe is Yummy (my brother lives in switzerland so I get plenty of it)...

Now I'm extra jealous!!!! Chocolate over here is disgusting! They have weirs cocoa/sugar rules, which means when I want a choc bar I have to go to a British Store and spend a fortune!! The import laws are strange too, they tried to ban Heinz Baked Beans because....there were too many beans in the tin!!!!!!

That is hilarious!! Well it goes both ways, there are a few stuff I'd like to find in my stores but the French government won't allow it (or it will be way too expensive)

I get the expensive part, I hate it when I buy something that is prepriced in £s and I have to pay four or five times it's actual cost!

Lol! My migraine needs to go away as I missed my gym session last night and I need to go this weekend if I'm to hit my target! Hopefully the weather will change soon and headaches will go away for a while... at least until the humidity hits!

Just to add to this thought, I have the book but have not read Divergent yet and don't know the characters, but someone posted on Facebook today that they are making the movie and Kate Winslot will be the lead or some character. I don't remember the name of the character name she has been cast as.

Hey Everyone. I finally went to my first signing today, for none other than Cassandra Clare :). 3 hour wait for 30 seconds of her time, but got some free stuff as well so that was nice. A little bummed that there was no message but I understand because there were just so many people there. I told her to please don't stop writing and she laughed and said she was going to drop everything right now and go sailing! lol.

So was it worth the 30 seconds of her time after a 30 min wait Kathleen?

Working and homework, unfortunately. But I have two books that I've almost finished and I'm hoping to complete both of them in the next couple days.

Anyone doing anything fun??

Taking a break from homework to go couch shopping with my daughter before work! She is moving into her first apartment next weekend.

I've got personal training, soft skills, and later on my friend's birthday party, all in all busy but pleasant weekend ahead :)

When I have a gain at my Weigh In on Tuesday I will be blaming the lack of decent pain killers in this country, and the temptation of European chocolate...and you two!! Lol!!!

Oh and after about an 18 month ban, the stupid food people have let Heinz Spaghetti back in to the country!! Woohoo!!!!

My weekend is likely going to be spent reading, I will maybe head to the gym at some point, but my migraine doesn't really mix with step classes and loud music!

To be honest, I wouldn't do it again if I know the wait is going to be over an hour. It was good for a first-time experience though and I'm glad I went.
