2013 Hub Reading Challenge discussion

I hate math and science, but between this book and Bomb, I have a better understanding of the Manhattan Project and the science behind atomic weaponry than I gleaned from years of history classes. Mad props to this author--and what a perfect pair with Bomb!

Seconded! Hell, I understand more about chemistry in general after seeing these explanations in graphic format. I ordered this one for my library as soon as I read it.

Great book! I feel like I wasn't quite smart enough for it,(I was pretty confused at the beginning) but that was totally my failing not the book's. I understand so much more about the atomic bomb than I ever thought I could have, thanks to this book. Approaching this subject in a graphic format was a spectactular idea, and it's executed so well.
