Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

I have been approached by a Francis Bayog on Facebook about advertising on http://FantasySciFi.com, http://Fantascize.com, and https://www.facebook.com/fantasyscifi . I am unfamiliar with these sites. Francis says a number of indie authors use them. The rates quoted seemed a bit high. But, they look like they have a lot of readers.

Do you have any information on these sites (as a reader/follower or even better as an author who advertised with them)?
