yep they are so good! I like the chemistry between the two. I watched season 1 episode 2 last night. I felt bad for Dr. Watson's date, she almost died on their first date! wahahaha

I've watched until season 2, I thought season 3 will be this year but I dont think it'll happen since Cumberbatch is busy with Star Trek and The Hobbit and Freeman with The Hobbit. I agree with you, their chemistry is awesome. in fact I prefer this version than the one made by Guy Richie, Sherlock the movie.

you should watch episode 3 ASAP Novel, it's awesome. I bet when you finish it, you want to watch season 2 so bad :D

I heard the best episode is season 2 episode 1... i'm dying to watch it but I just don't have the time. If I finish episode 3 on my lunch break later, i can start season 2 tonight. =)

yes, season 2 episode 1 is awesome but you have to watch season 1 episode 3 first to feel the awesomeness (is it a word? :D ) of season 2 episode 1.

it's amazing! I haven't finished the entire season yet but I heard thet Irene won't be showing up on the rest of the episodes in season 2. I hope she'll be back in season 3... the sexual tension between her and Sherlock... *fans self* they are so good together, she have to come back!

sure! The series is waaay better than the film. Cumberbatch and Freeman are awesome!

I finished it last night. Whew, what a season finale! I can't wait to watch season 3!!!

Sherlock is back!!!

These are the episodes of Series 3 and there dates. Episode 1: The Empty Hearse (October 31st 2013) Episode 2: The Sign Of Three (November 7th 2013) Episode 3: His Last Vow (November 14th 2013)

I'm so excited! But it's not premiering in the US until 2014 :(

Best show ever- enough said!!! DYING for Season 3!!!!

Sherlock is really back! is there anyone who has already watched series 3? I don't know when it will be played in my country, though. I'm dying to watch it.

season three has strated here in the u.s. episode two of season three just aired not to long ago.

I love Benedict Cumberbatch but now? not as much as I love him long before Sherlock, the same reason with yours, Hannelore. It seems people love him instantly and suddenly and he's everywhere!

But, Sherlock is amazing. I love it and much prefer it than movie version by Guy Richie, with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. This BBC Sherlock is closer to the book and Cumberbatch's interpretation is perfect. I have to admit I didn't quite like the movie version because Downey's Sherlock looked like a funny guy while that wasn't Sherlock in my mind for so long, long before Cumberbatch played it, imo :D

Oh my God I love this show so much! I started by binge-watching all the episodes of season one and two back in June and got through them all in two days! Over the next six months I got more and more of my friends to watch it and before I knew it, season 3 was upon us! I loved loved loved The Empty Hearse and The Sign of Three - amazing. Can't wait for the last episode of the season on the 12th... hopefully there won't be as long of a hiatus as there was before. I'll be watching it on a live stream, since I live in the US!

@Hannelore, each season only has 3 episodes. BBC tv show rarely have a lot of episodes in each season, unlike American tv show. You should watch it, Hannelore. It's so worth it.

Ya i definitely like BBC Sherlock than the Sherlock Holmes movie. I guess I do because of how it takes place in a modern setting. Plus I love Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman!

When I first watched Sherlock Holmes, I didn't get why he's more like a funny guy instead of a cynical guy. Well...that was what I picture him when I read the books long time ago. And then I watched Sherlock and think that's what I picture him all this years! though I have to admit it was kind of odd with modern setting but it worked! all of the elements work perfectly and yes, Cumberbatch and Freeman are perfect too.

I watched season 2 again last night and realize that Freeman has "signature gesture" (I don't know the proper words, hope you understand me). In some part Watson and Bilbo aren't much different, in the way Freeman brings himself.

I've only seen the Sherlock Holmes movie and the BBC show, but I've been wanting to read the books! I'm planning on reading them after the current book I'm in (An Abundance of Katherines).

And I totally understand the whole Freeman thing; I noticed a resemblance between Biblo and Watson too

You should read Sherlock Holmes, Christina. He (and Hercule Poirot) were my first heroes crush, I think :) I read them when I was in junior high school and there was a time when I can't get enough of them :D

Do Jim Moriarty and Irene Adler come back in season 3? I heard there is another villain in season 3, forgot his name, though.
