Reading between the wines discussion

Ok, so I really need to know what people think about this serious. I read around 100 pages and had to quit reading because I just hate Kiera. I couldn't understand how these guys loved her so much. Am I the only one that hated this series?

I loved the series and am anxiously and impatiently waiting for Reckless on 03/05/13.

I also hated Kiera in Thoughtless. She was flighty and confusing and such a weak character... until the end... Then she was redeemed in my opinion.

Kiera in Effortless was a lot more tolerable and mature and likeable throughout the book.

I'm hoping smart, mature, and trusting/trustworthy Kiera returns in Reckless.

Regardless, I kept reading for Kellan!!! He just got better and better with each scene!!! LOVE KELLAN!!! If you can ignore Kiera in Thoughtless and only focus on Kellan, it becomes a much better read!!!

I didn't care for either, but at the end I did kind of like her.. But Kellan makes the book, he is worth the read!

I thought it was good. I felt horrible for Denny and I thought Keira was WAY to whiney. I don't think she deserved either guy, BUT I think she slowly redeems herself in the next book. And hopefully by book three she's matured more.

I have a lot of different feelings about this book. Not as crazy as some of my friends were.....Kiera drove me freakin nuts, can't figure out what any guy would see in her, and my heart broke for Denny. I haven't been able to make myself read the second book yet.

That 's how I am feeling. Usually I finish my books fast b/c I can't put them done but this one I just can't get through. :(

Jessica- I usually gobble up these books fairly quickly - but Keira did get on my nerves. I had to step away from reading Thoughtless and again in Effortless. It happened later in book2 than book1- indicative, I think, of the character's development. The need to know what happens to the characters (Kellan!) made me go back and by the end of both I got over my Keira aggravation. I started Reckless and am loving it so far (I'm 1/3 in).
