Often simple solutions are proposed to complex problems. Examples include the present beliefs associated with global warming and the causes of cancer/birth defects. Concerns associated with these highly controversial areas are made worse as the result of misinformation generated by local, state and federal politicians and regulatory agencies, as well as the media and special interest groups, all of which have their own self-serving agendas.
