Rebekah (bekalynn) Kate S, do we have to read the book in French? That's what the link takes us to.

I assume everyone can read French and can't imagine this to be an issue. :) Just kidding, the most popular edition (the one linked) is in French, please read in whichever language is most comfortable for you. I read the English translation and enjoyed it!

Sam (theliteraryhooker) | 1008 comments Oooh I've been wanting to read more French books this year, and I hadn't heard of HHhH. It sounds really interesting! I think I know which book I'll be using for this task! :)

Well I'd love to learn French but starting with this book may be difficult. Maybe next time. (smile)

Rebekah (bekalynn) So has anyone figured out if any of the group reads are eligible for combo points? I usually try to fit as many of the group reads into the various tasks because I really enjoy reading the books that everyone else has selected. Unfortunately, I never get to read all of the choices that I want to read.

Rebekah - I know off the top of my head that The Tenant of Wildfell Hall was made into a BBC mini-series (IMdB here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115387/) back in the mid-90s. So that makes it eligible for 20.2 combo points.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14230 comments Snow will get you non-western points.

10 Oldies points for both The Age of Innocence and The Phantom of the Opera.

Rebekah (bekalynn) Thanks! The more I can fit into the other tasks, the more of them I can read!
