Has anyone started the book yet or read any other Lisa Genova's other books?

I read this one and Still Alice and really liked them both. This one made me think about some of the dumb chances I take just because I'm in a hurry.

I read and really enjoyed Still Alice. It was so sad but good at the same time.

I am hoping to get an email from the library in the next couple of days that my copy is available.

I think you'll have to wait until I return my copy to the library tonight. Sorry!

I got an email from ocln this morning that my book is in. Either they were prescient or you weren't blocking me. ;).

Still Alice made me cry more than I like to admit. Just started this. Is it wrong to think "hurry up to the accident"? I do wan to finish before I leave for vacation.

I felt the same way Lynn! I kept thinking it was going to happen and then it didn't-made me stressed out!

I am almost halfway through "Left Neglected". It is a really quick read for me and so far I am liking it.

This book is definitely making me think of a few different issues/topics:
-mommy guilt vs. work-schedule guilt (I'm not spending enough time with my kid vs. everyone else at the office must think I am a total slacker because I am not there 12 hours a day 5 days a week)
-and as Joanie said...how the little irresponsible acts we do while in a rush may have a huge impact.

Finished the book last night - it was okay - I'm not sure I'd recommend it to others. It was all a bit too wrapped up in a neat little bow ... I'd originally planned to attend today - I've decided to skip this gathering. Hope to attend in April!

I didn't finish the book in time for the meeting, but of course I still attended...spoilers be damned!! I should be finished with the book by tomorrow.

It was fun! My son even got picked up by a blonde bombshell. ;)

My cupcakes from Cupcake Charlies are staring at me now...but I need to start prepping dinner. sigh.

Hmm...were there any spoilers in the tiny little bit we talked about the book? I guess there may have been one or two.
