Hey Glenda... just wanted to stop by again... Couldn't get on most of the day... glad the site is back up... I was having withdraws.

So as an update, i finished a book last weekend, and I'm currently reading

I am starting to write my next book for my cap stone project. It's going to be awesome and hopfully really long and... informative I guess. :P My first Historical fiction. heh.
I'm also going to texas this week for Nationa Honors Choir and I'm really excited. I've never been to texas before. I hope it goes well, I'm considering keeping a journal, but we're only going to be there for like 4 days so... i dont know.

Love-Sweet
There once was girl named for her voice,
Which was as lovely as a birds sweet chirping and as quiet as the whistling wind.
She met a young man at the age of 14
And they two fell deeply in love,
But the trouble with men is they never quite learn how to control their great big hearts.
So one day when the girl was just twenty,
Just after she just had a baby,
The man who had loved her, who had held her and sheltered her,
Took a dagger that hang on his belt,
And with a big surge of fury,
Stabbed her in a hurry, but made sure there was no doubt of her death.
Then he mourned every day and he mourned every night for the woman who had completed his life. He cursed her beloved, and he swore his revenge, though revenge was never served.
And thus was the tale of a girl and her lovers,
A girl by the name of Love-Sweet

It does actually make sense and well the iamge was certainly there in the readers mind.. I think it was pretty good...he kept her his until death

So I really enjoyed the book but I only gave it four stars because it didn't make me cry. There are sad parts, but I didn't cry... I feel like I should have, but I didn't. Blah. I recommend it to those who enjoyed the first two books. There's a real development of character in Zara, thank goodness. And it's a nice growth of character.

I posted one on my corner, a poem... I have read it at a open mic before.. I have only done it a few times as.. the nearest one to me is like 40 miles away...

They are definitely not stand alones. Heh. I definitely recommend reading all of them, but only if you like some major, twisted teenage drama. And I mean MAJOR... At least in my opinion...
People! Lol. Don't pollute my topic. ;)

EVERYONE DOES!!!!! lol.
Name: Valterra "Val" Avariella
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: Afraid of Life, quiet, doesn't ever speak up, like to stay home and read no matter the weather, has a fear of abandonment. (still working on this... it will develop in the story)
Background: When she was six, her father left her and her mom. It was really emotional and devistating, and left her emotionally scarred. She grew up watching her mom get remarried over and over again, though said mother never stayed with her husband for more than 3-4 years. She's been at the same school her whole life, refusing to move away because she doesn't make friends easily, and because she knows everyone there. She's had a crush on one of the boys in her class for a really long time, but never had the courage to ask him out or show him that she is interested, afraid that he'd leave her like her dad. She's currently in junior year of high school and she is scared for the end of the year because then she'll be going into senior year ad she isn't sure what she's going to do with herself after high school, though she knows that she needs to start making decisions.

Sounds like a interesting character that could develop in different directions...

I'm currently reading

I'm gonna start

I also am reading a book for school and have been on it over a week... ackk.. usually I read a book in a days time... The plot is good but there are a lot of awkward sentences and some that have over 25 words in them... I keep telling myself... "I can do this" the weird thing this book won a award... maybe its just me... Reading Salvage the bones

Thanks for the warning, won't be reading that. Sounds as bad as that movie Mel Gibson did re the Crucifixion. Took me weeks to get over that movie. Told my mother she wasn't to watch it as it would upset her her. Pass thanks.

Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed. Night night!

It did upset a lot of people. I foun..."
That's just it, it was a very good movie. One doesn't realize that "flay" isn't just a word, it's something that actually happened. My problem is that I have too much empathy for people and animals. It's the type of movie I shouldn't watch at all as it upsets me for weeks afterwards. I cried in King Kong, because I felt that they took him out of his environment then wanted to kill him when he acted the way he would in the wild. Man cannot leave things alone, they always have to interfere. Then when it doesn't react the way Man wants it to, then they kill it.

Okay so I'm not sure what I'm gonna use this for yet, but I know I'm at least gonna use it to keep track of my reading challenge, and to rant and yeah. Lol. We'll see.
