I think I've read Shiver about 6 times now!
Poor Isabel too, losing Jack like that. Also, I think I am much like Rachel! Too much coffee, and pigtails and hyperness! (but I don't wear pigtails very often.)

I still have to read Forever!!! the 2nd book left me with some questions about grace and I wanna know them!!

Awesome trilogy!!!! And the 1st book was really good, not the usual read you find about wolfs!!!! Really emotional book till the very end!!

I know! That was one of my favourite things about it, that it wasn't the same stereotypical werewolf story. It was original and it was written so poetically and like it was real. I loved it sooo much!

Yes, it is true this time, apparently though, it's having some issues with pre-production and I'm not sure if it's gonna be made or not. Finger's crossed though!

yeah, that's the bad thing about all these YA stories today, all the people who haven't read them, see the trailers in the theatre and think, oh god it's like twilight. I hate that! Even though I don't hate twilight, I just don't get haters, can't they give something a chance before they judge? oh well. At least we didn't get a really bad version of a movie and then have someone who wasn't passionate about it making it.

Yes! I am a fan of The Hunger Games too and when the trailer came out, everyone said: "Will it be as sucessful as twilight? The next mega hype?" I just hate that.

yeah, so much expectation. I agree with Maggie that whoever makes the movie has to be really passionate about it ans STICK TO THE STORYLINE.

aww I don't know if thats supposed to be a good or bad thing. But I practically never cry so if I get teary eyed then thats an improvement

ha ha, well I think of it as a good thing 'cause I'm connecting with the characters...so a lot of my 'friends' are just in books. lol

I excatly know what you mean. I've read a few series with like 5 or more books and then the characters really become your friends.

yeah. I can't believe that the movie was cancelled....again! They've tried about 3 times now to make a Shiver movie!
But I agree with Maggie. It would ruin everything if the director and everybody wasn't into telling the story properly and they changed things. It wouldn't be good if Shiver had a different storyline or anything.

ha ha, I'm reading Vampire Diaries and am nearly finished, but in my opinion, I like the tv show better, has a more believable storyline. Evan though the books are great as well. But it's more fantasy and adventure based instead of paranormal and romance.

And yeah, they would have to edit some things out if they were to make Shiver a movie, because it's really long. BUT EVERYTHING'S SO ROMANTIC!

Cole is in Linger though...not Shiver.

Umm, I think Sam likes to read more than Grace does, BUT I LOVE THEM NONETHELESS!!!!!!

Sam and Grace are actually one of the main couples that I've read about that I'm not jealous of the girl, becasue they are so perfect together I don't think I could bare to take Sam away from her.

The reason Shiver wasn't made into a movie was because they tried to turn it into a horror film. Maggie siad so in her LondonReal interview.

wel, that's just weird. I'm so glad though, because as soon as I turn 18, and finish film school and etc. I want to go to Maggie Steifvater get an agent and ask to make the movie, then I shall make it ocmpletely and as much as I can same as the books and make it real and awesome.
