I probably would not have made it to 50 last year if not for the audio books I listened to while falling asleep!

I've had this book on my shelf at home for several years. I'll need to move it up the TBR pile. Thanks Roberta.

5. Back Roads by Tawni French - One of Oprah's picks - pretty good

9. The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Man in the World

Rose

14. Ghost at Work by Carolyn G. Hart - light reading but very enjoyable. I want to read more of her books.
15. Kaleidoscope by Dorothy Gilman - again light reading but very enjoyable. I've read most of her books and find them entertaining.

19. Delivered from Distraction by Dr. Ned Hallowell - about ADHD
20. The Last Noel by Heather Graham light reading - mystery

33. The Complaints by Ian Rankin - Rankin is one of my favorite mystery authors.
34. Kingdom of Strangers by Zoe Ferraris - I've read all three books in this series and wish there were more.

39. The Art of Fielding
40. Cocaine Blues
41. The Laughing Policeman
42. Deeds of the Disturber
Wow! I'm almost there.

44. Mission Flats by William Landry I read this because I liked his book Defending Jacob so much. This one was pretty good too.

47. The Case of the Gilded Fly by Edmund Crispin - okay but very dated - I didn't get most of the references.

49. The Snake, the Crocodile and the Dog by Elizabeth Peters
only 1 to go!

51. I Have Lived a 1000 Years: Growing Up in the Holocaust - Really powerful. I highly recommend it.
I did it! But of course, I'll keep reading.
2. 1Q84 (Books 1-3): I didn't expect to like this book but I did. It's by a Japanese author and written in the Magical Realism style. It's the kind of book that it would be good to take a class on. (audio book)
3. Every Secret Thing by Laura Lippman. This is one of Lippman's stand alone novels. Pretty good but not fantastic. (audio book)
PS: Do audio books count?
