I am new to Goodreads- I was trying to catalogue the books we have read in our island book club. I am excited about expanding to an online group- more opinions which I like. I am a recent empty nester so I have way more time to read.

Thank you Janice- I am so new I don't even know what I don't know yet! Almeta directed be to the How To page which I'm sure will be very useful. So far I can say what I do know is that this is a very welcoming group.

Thank you jaxnsmom- I have been wondering around the site and the challenges will definately be something I want to try. I have never heard of a toppler but after reading Almeta's poem it sounds like something to be added to my to do list.
Oh, you are into it now, Marnie. You will have a TBR list AND a "To Do List". LOL!

Hi everyone! I'm Elizabeth! I was looking around Goodreads for some new books to read and happened upon this group. I spent a good chunk of last night reading the boards and I have to say...I think the challenges are fantastic! So creative and a good way to get some reading done :) I also checked out several book recommendations and I probably added at least fifty books to my to-read shelf! Super excited to get started!
