Linda Kendall I was so intrigued with this book. Like everyone else I had my issues with this book and as awesome as their sexual relationship is it's also not healthy. I understand people being abused in their pasts causes serious problems and it can't be forgotten. You can just try to live your life the best way you can. As for Gideon he turned a horrible life into a very successful one. I just don't understand how people that experienced sexual abuse can turn to sex for comfort. I personally think it would cause a total different effect. Especially having rough sex, you would think it would bring you back to that deep dark place that you tried so hard to get out of. Anyways, moving on..Loved these books and can't wait for the 3rd one. But as much as you love someone is it worth destroying your self in the end for it. He loved her enough to kill for her but that has to haunt his conscience. Also for her knowing how obsessed he is with her and what it brought him to do. THat has to be tough to live with..Seriously these 2 people are driving themselves to see shrinks. But the way these 2 are wired it might even bother her that he killed Nathan, actually that might be a big turn on for her because seriously these 2 get turned on by the craziest things. But the passion that they have is so addicting, you wouldn't want to give it up. Now where he killed for her how could she ever let him go, he'd have nothing, he'd be lost for sure. I didn't think anyone could be anymore screwed up then Christian Grey until Gideon Crossed was introduced to us. These books are fiction but at the same time I'd crumble to my knees for these men. The aggression they take with their women, the SEX, it would make anyone want more, all the power. How could you not be addicted. Let's just hope that these people can have a happy ending. I don't know how they can put this pass them. But I do have to say Gideon is a very smart man, he sure planned this murder out well enough not to get caught. Be in all seriousness he still could of got someone to do it for him without a money trail. But i guess in his mind this was something he had to do to protect Eva, I just hope it doesn't destroy him. He suffered enough from everyone in his past. But him and Eva are going to have to be honest with each other if this relationship can last a life time.. Let's just hope Brett stays away because Gideon killed once for Eva, I'm sure he'd do it again, just so there's no threat to him. Can't wait for June to come around to get my hands on the 3rd book. Would love to have more discussions on this book if any one wants to listen to me rant and rave.
