The writing is really vanilla, nothing special about it at all. Just tells the story without any flare. But what a story. Sheesh.
I had nightmares about it last night. That's the first time in a LONG time that a book has done that to me.

J.N.
I have it but like many books haven't read it yet. Bought it after someone here (forgot who) mentioned it in a post.

I did enjoy it, though. I found the first two chapters were very well written, but the others were not as strongly scribed.
There were parts in the book that really left me chilled and my mouth agape.

I just read this cover-to-cover in one day and it's one of the most unnerving, haunting things I have ever read.
Very, very strongly recommended. "Haunting" is really the best word I can think of to describe it.
Anyone else read this one? If you haven't, you really must.
