I just read this cover-to-cover in one day and it's one of the most unnerving, haunting things I have ever read.

Very, very strongly recommended. "Haunting" is really the best word I can think of to describe it.

Anyone else read this one? If you haven't, you really must.

Braden A. (megladon8) | 47 comments Hope you enjoy it like I did, Kyle.

The writing is really vanilla, nothing special about it at all. Just tells the story without any flare. But what a story. Sheesh.

I had nightmares about it last night. That's the first time in a LONG time that a book has done that to me.

Trisha (kikilangoisse) | 13 comments I just looked at it over at Amazon and after skimming some of the reviews, it's on it's way to my house. Thanks for the recommendation!

I have it but like many books haven't read it yet. Bought it after someone here (forgot who) mentioned it in a post.

Addy | 5111 comments This a great story. Very haunting and scary in a real life kind of way. I was very happy I was able to borrow this book, but its definitely worth owning it for a reread:)

Elliot (agentpanix) | 14 comments I just finished reading this and had some questions, but I don't want to spoil it.

I did enjoy it, though. I found the first two chapters were very well written, but the others were not as strongly scribed.

There were parts in the book that really left me chilled and my mouth agape.

Carlos (cdlt1983) Justin it's from the great artist Santiago Caruso, I love his work.

message 13: by Carlos (new)

Carlos (cdlt1983) I just finished reading this and it is haunting, and the last two chapters were great.

message 14: by Andrea (new)

Andrea A lot of reviews I had read complained about writing style and plot holes, and while I see their point, I have to say, this book disturbed me on so many levels. I couldn't stop thinking about the horror of it for days. See, that was almost a year ago and I just got chills thinking about it! Yes, you will have many questions. But in the end I'm not sure it matters, at least not to me...

K4tie (nonzombieleader) | 484 comments I had to go get this now. I haven't had a nightmare from a book in more than 20 years, if this book can accomplish that level of emotional response, well then I can't wait to read it. :)

Carlos (cdlt1983) It did to me after I finished.
