oooh I'm waiting for it :D It's been a while since I've played nice city-building game and I always liked SimCity

I've seen some negative comments from some beta players. Chris Kluwe (@ChrisWarcraft)seems to be having a bad time. I think the always online thing is a problem. I might have to install an old version of the game to get a fix soon. :)

SC2000 was my favorite simulation game for a long time :) And I also didn't like Societies much. They just wanted to go on with all the Sims mania with this and it didn't work out

So, I've been playing the new Sim City because I was super excited about it, but there's a problem.

Right now, it's almost impossible to login and play. Server problems, online problems, disconnections, getting kicked out of the game. Horrible!

But when the game works, oh man it's the best thing ever!

If you're planning on picking this up, wait until the server issues are all resolved.

I'm waiting because I read there was problems but I'm really excited about it since last year, now I'm just watching YouTube videos for a fix, lol.

I am looking forward to it but having issues with my PC and don't think my laptop will run it. Pre-ordered it and had confirmation it has been sent so it will be here soon. Taunting me.

Honestly, wait until next week to get your hands into it. It'll just be a test of patience if you try to login before they resolve the server issues.

It'll be interesting to read the reviews and see how te issues are settling down. When SimCity is good (SC2000 ans SC4) it is very, very good indeed!

Not getting the new Sim City. The always online thing has been proven to be a problem before with Diablo III and if it's already a problem in the Beta test level for Sim City online, it's only going to get worse once it's actually released.

I have been keeping away from such games, because I find them so very very addictive, but if I fail my attempt-to-get-back-into-uni exam in May, I think it will be a good distraction from the depression that will doubtless follow....though I may create cities only to destroy them...BURN, CITY, BURN!!!! Mwah, haha! (I will also play sims and murder those people too. :D)

Though I'm interested in playing it since Simcity 2000 was the last I played, I'm a Mac user so I have a bit to wait. This obviously seems to be a good thing ATM.

Well you can login and play Sim City now. I've been having a blast on NA East 1, but the wait times are pretty big if you want to get in on that server.

I've actually had no issues getting onto a server in Europe since release day. Just a shame my PC is knackered and I am playing on a laptop with specs below the minimum so it looks crappy as hell. Still eating up my time nicely all the same.

I'm just gona stick to Witcher for now :P
