Yay! Glad you found a couple you might like, I'm reading the third Rot & Ruinbook, soo good! And Unwind is amazing!

I heard about the film, so excited!!! Can't wait to hear what you think of these books :)

Me too! I do wonder how they're going to go about displaying the noise though. And I'll be sure to report back as i read them :)

so many of these books that everyone loves I was never able to get into. like the series by Patrick Ness and Unwind, I've tried a few times and just haven't been able to read them.

I just heard of the book " The Program " . Has anyone here read it and would recommend it ?

The first book in Chaos Walking was great, but the last two were just AWESOME!!!! They definitely would be top 10!!! And Daniela, you should definitely read Unwind; it was fantastic!!

Just wanted to say, reading all these comments and reading y'all's fav books and why make me so happy!! I am extra emotional since I am pregnant, but it makes me extra happy to know there are so many ppl out there like me that love the types of books I love an are so into then like me! New to the group, so maybe you guys have discussed these before, but I would also recommend The Scourge by A.G. Henley (second book due out in a few months), the WOOL series (Hugh Howey) and the Matched series by Allie Condie.

FYI for Neil Schusterman fans (Unwind series)- if you friend him on FB, he often posts when he is writing and asks for help naming his characters!

No problem, i assure you most if not all of us feel the exact same way!:) Unfortunately as a teenager i find it pretty hard to find people as into books as i am. Thats why i love this place so much. Oh and congrats!! :D

Welcome to the group Malia! You nominated The Scourge for the July group read didn't you? Well, it's going on the poll so we might all end up reading it :)

I totally understand, I had the same thing with the Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness; I was super patient with that one and it luckily paid off!!

Legend is one of my favorite books!!! If I were you try Divergent, The Hunger Games, and The Knife of Never Letting Go! Sorry if you've already read them or if you don't enjoy them.

Yeah you should, but you should definitely be patient. The first book was pretty good, but I really loved the last two!

I agree with Divergent! You also might like Under the Never Sky and Rot & Ruin :)

I've been meaning to read Under the NEver Sky!!

Just a caveat on Under the Never Sky, it was an OK book but the sequel is awesome and waaay better, and I think the third could be the best! Whereas with Legend I liked the first book better than the second :)

Has anyone read, "The Maze Runner," series? Gosh- it's my favorite! THe movie is coming out next year! It's a must-read. Also, Maximum Ride by James Patterson? Gosh it's perfect!:D

I loved The Maze Runner series, though I have yet to finish the prequel that came out after I read the original three.

I feel like The Testing is a mix of The Maze Runner and The Hunger Games.

@Likeskylarks, the prequel is better then the series in my opinion. It had me crying at the end. It's such a powerful book, you HAVE to read it! Literally, HAVE TOO!

Nice!!! I love both the maze runner and James Patterson! I still need to read the prequel though; I thought the other three were all amazing!

You guys need to stop being so good at recommending books, the amount of books i want to read is getting our of hand! I need to revise an you guys are just fuelling my procrastination! XD

Everyone keeps telling me that, but I was reading parts over my sisters shoulder and it just didn't work with me...I didn't like the obsessive sadness

You have to read it from the beginning to understand why its so amazing. If you dont like it even then, then fair enough haha. And I'm not sure Kayla, they haven't started filming yet because the actors playing Hazel and Augustus are filming divergent! I don't think they've cast everyone either. Probably late 2014 or 2015?

I've got soooo many dystopian books waiting for me to get started on....I've been saving them for the right moment while I try to reduce the tbrs from other genres but they are sitting there LOOKING at me every day!!!

Me too, I dont think the movie will be good enough to see it, starting with the actors they chose (especially the ones for Tris, Will, Al and Eric) and the clothes they use since abnegation only wear gray.
The same with the Mortal Instruments movie.
