Don't worry we'll be issuing clown-masking glasses to our people. (Just got the crate in from the Lanyon Imaginarium Armory.)
You will be invulnerable to all clowns, as well as several types of stand up comedians.

Susinok | 5205 comments I am picturing your mighty armies of ponies, clowns, and glittery hangers-on marching off to war to the tune of "Bridge Over the River Kwai" performed on kazoo.

For booking just send a message. My usual fee includes a golden hairnet, three cows, and a bag of sour sweets (just because I finished the last one yesterday). :-D

These scary looking ponies with their green glass beads will surely make our enemy shake in terror!

description

Note: They are Katharina's and Calathea's ponies — Josh can have the chocolate chip cookies (WITHOUT raisins) to gain his strength for the battle.

Astrid will put on her full fairy princess--she wicked fast with those little wings of hers.
And I will be clothed in the traditional raiments of my people--the fearsome hobos!"

These outfits put the fear in ME! :-D The hobo one I can supply also quite easily. We'd have to ask Nicole how she feels about second hand clothes, though. These skins have been worn by other people after all!

I think you may be quite right--though "Another One Bites the Dust" on whoopee cushions might also be possible.

Katharina wrote: "We'd have to ask Nicole how she feels about second hand clothes, though. These skins have been worn by other people after all! "

Well, I'm okay with second hand skins, generally, so long as they don't have any really bad tattoos. Like it would be hard to strike fear in the hearts of my enemies wearing a full backpiece of Snoopy & Tweety.

I could always just wear the skins of slain Plot Zombies--which by a startling coincidence is what I'm blogging about today over at Jessewave's.

Nicole already has a FULL wardrobe of tailored enemies' skins--and matching pumps.
(In fact I think she over at jessewave slaying zombies even as we speak.)

I was going to say that we should make sure we don't show up to battle wearing the same outfit... but then I remembered that that's actually what armies are SUPPOSED to do...

Maybe we're less of an army than a rag-tag, rebel fleet making a heroic stand against the rising power of a tyrannical Dark Lord.

I've been known to talk people into sleep, so I think myself I might prove useful in this fight. Also, I have a very mean facial expression, profound expletive vocabulary and no shame. I think we have already won.

Hey, this is the sweetest thing I've heard anybody say for a while. :)

And yes, I think that those SIX dabwahabadhawa rounds we still have to battle are keeping us all ultra sane for the rest of the spring, don't you think?!

Such a gift to have all this insanity here. (No, I'm not looking at Ginn's and Katharina's direction right now. I'm really not. No.)

Well, you are very welcome, Karen, and thanks for that very sweet post!! I think I can speak for quite a few of us when I say that it doesn't take much work for us to keep up the insanity level. Really, it's the sanity that is so damn hard to achieve, so kudos to you ;)

I'm really not sure what you mean, Johanna, I'm the absolute epitome of sanity (ugh, ignore prior post, please, it might destroy my argument here). If you look at the definition of quiet, reasonable, and sane then there should be my picture next to it.
...Ginn, on the other hand, is completely bonkers. :-D :-D :-D

Some books instantly remind me of where I first read them, and this is particularly so with audiobooks - I remember a particular part of the road I was driving when I heard a specific scene - so don't let the sour taste of taxes contaminate Strange Fortune!

... still the T word is really bad. It's gonna take me at least a whole weekend getting my husband's and my stuff done and I'm procrastinating pretty actively. I'm wondering what kind of favours I can get out of him for that abysmal way of spending weekends... ;D
