Hmm....what hooked me about this book was the title and the cover. (I don't read book blurbs before diving in. Some weird habit of mine. I want to explore the book fully while reading it and not before.) But somehow during and after reading the book, I feel a bit duped. That cover does not match the content of the book for me.

There's so much I want to say but I'll wait and divulge bit by bit as you read on.

LOL. I didn't read the blurb either just the cover and title, so I am flying blind now too!

I also didn't read any reviews so it wouldn't have any expectations.

Well, no, I don't think I enjoyed it. It was a completely different kind of a book and I would rather not say much before you get more into the book.

Did you start Wounded?

Yes ma'am currently reading it! Not loving the "writing style"

So now I am ready to see what you thought of this book. things with veterans and foreign women are kind of touchy. I wonder how people received this book.
A GI and a prostitute--not the makings for a great love story in my opinion.
