Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I have two novels that have new covers, and I would like to know how to add appropriately these new covers. The novels both have their original ISBN numbers, and I recently learned that simply changing the covers to reflect current status is not acceptable.

How do I go about adding the new covers without violating any rules? My thanks for any help you could offer.

Create a new record with the new covers and a Librarian note to say Alternate cover edition.

Combine these with the existing copies.

Go back into Edit and click the bit to make primary if you so wish.
