I was at a bookstore and someone recommended a series about a grim reaper but I am completely blanking on the author or title. Any ideas?

Amber Benson has a reaper series too.
Darynda Jones! That is the series. Thanks for helping me out. Are there other good reaper series? It never occurred to me that that would be a sub-genre for UF.
Rachel Vincent has a YA UF series "Soul Screamers" about Reapers and Banshees, the first in the series is: My Soul to TakeGina Damico also has a YA UF series about Reapers. The series and first book are titled Croak.
Kalayna Price's
has Death as one of the main supporting characters.Also, glad I had the right series you were looking for. :) I like that one a lot.
Eve Silver's Otherkin series is about reapers.
