In celebration of new covers and publication of the IMAGINE Trilogy's second book; both the first book, "No Heaven", and "No Hell" will be on sale for only .99 cents on all Amazon websites through the end of March (sorry, e-book only).
This is a great opportunity as these books will never be this... uh, inexpensive again... NEVER! (Note I didn't use the word cheap? LOL).
The Imagine trilogy is a mixed genre that's heavy on supernatural and science fiction, with doses of religious history, romance, spirituality, murder and mystery, all packaged into an exciting thriller format.
Here's a mid-length synopsis:
The first time he walked this earth, he aimed to teach people the way to inner peace and everlasting life without fear of death or fear based oppression of people by those with religious or political power. He failed.
Despite the passage of time, this gentle, alien man from a parallel universe is back. He says his name is Jesus, but refutes being the Son of God. Claiming the Christian religion is a huge misunderstanding, for which he has proof and that a religiously incited nuclear war is on the horizon; Jesus has returned to save the world from itself.
Stopping the nuclear holocaust is a job handled by scientists from his world. Jesus, however, has a problem finding his evidential proof of the falseness of Christianity's beliefs and dogmas. He needs three, very special people to help him with this task. Jack Schmidt, an ex-soldier and atheist who operates a successful, anti-religious, internet blog, Dr. "Beth" Washburn, professor of theology, who has recently suffered a loss of faith, and Kate Barrows, a college student looking for inspiration. Unlikely converts, but all have past incarnations associated with each other and Jesus, and their spirits hold the secrets of this proof, hidden in a box for safety following Jesus' crucifixion.
Jesus anticipated and prepared for opposition from the religious, political and financial power brokers of this world who will stop at nothing to maintain the status-quo.
What he didn't expect was an alien being from a different parallel universe than his, who equals him in paranormal abilities and the practical applications of quantum mechanics and has his own plans for world domination. Jesus is in his way.
PS: "No Heaven" was originally titled "The Second Advent: Disciples". I changed the title(s) because I was likely misleading folks into thinking that the book was Christian fiction. It isn't...
After changing the title, and contrary to Amazon's initial assurances, the reviews did not move with the book and have 'vanished'. Amazon worker bees suggested that I contact the reviewers and have them re-post their reviews. Silly, boys and girls! I don't know who the reviewers are and their profiles don't show an email address.
So, here goes maybe nothing. If you are among the 12 (US) and 9(UK) that wrote a review for "The Second Advent: Disciples", please re-post that review on the "No Heaven" product page. Thanks!
