I've been adding a bunch of books lately. :) I hope it's as good as it sounds! Definitely sounds different and interesting to me too.

Maybe we should put it up for nomination for the June additional read? Or do a buddy read in June if it's not successful in the voting stage.

I'm really looking forward to Dark Triumph and Siege and Storm. Not sure if they'll be nominated though.

And I'm sure House of Hades will be nominated. Mark of Athena was the best one yet in the series. What a cliffhanger!

I haven't been able to start reading Life After Life yet I have some early reviews to finish reading before I start it. To many choices and not enough time!

Written in My Own Heart's Blood by Diana Gabaldon is expected to be released Dec. 2013. That would be quite a series read if it were awarded but does it count for 2013 or 14? It is book #8 of The Outlander series

Allegiant:Book 3 of the Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth, it's not out yet obviously, but it definitely will be a win.

Books released between November 26, 2012, and December 31, 2013 count towards the 2013 awards

Revenge

The Bitter Kingdom . This is YA fantasy I may be interested in and if it won we could read the trilogy in the group series reads and I would be happy. Was reading about the seriesc and became very interested.

Oops. I found in on a list for 2013 releases, I thought???

It's been re-released in 2013 .... I didn't do much research into it but maybe it was released in Japan in 98 and released in English this year???

The divergent series! I love the books and they deserve more praise, not many people know about them.

I think I may have to look into the rules a little more because once again, we have a book saying it's published this year but was originally published in a past year, in this case 2011.

I'm not sure where the Goodreads Choice Awards stand on this kind of thing.

Edit - I have no idea how I missed this the first time around because it's there, quite easily to read, alongside the dates that a book is eligible for nomination: Books published for the first time in the United States in English

That explains it because I was looking at release dates on Goodreads postings but they are the English translated versions.

Songs of Willow Frost by Jamie Ford is due to be released Sept. 10. This may get nominated. Same author as

U said they deserve more praise - Insurgent was the winner of its genre for the Goodreads awards and Veronica Roth won for Goodreads author. Two wins was more than every other book. How much more praise were u seeking? Which also means they were won by votes more votes than any other book in 2012

A Constellation of Vital Phenomena by Anthony Marra. Just discovered this one. It sounds powerful. I wonder if it would be historical fiction?

Is This Tomorrow by Caroline Leavitt. I must mention I have not read any of the books. Maybe one year I will just read new releases. I am too busy reading everything else.

Murder as a Fine Art by David Morrell may be a nomination for thriller/suspense. It has peeked my interest.
